Tessa  Guinn holds a B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education from Lewis-Clark State College. She enjoys working with kids of all ages, and from varying backgrounds. Tessa loves to travel and go on road trips. She spends her free-time with her family and two dogs.

Allie Lively is a special education teacher in Castleford. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2020 and is currently earning a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Allie enjoys working with children and teens. She has a background of working with children with many different disabilities. Allie enjoys boating with her family and friends; she also enjoys going to the mountain in Pine.

Alondra Maldonado earned a Bachelors in Psychology from University of Idaho, and then a masters at Arizona State University. Prior to working for VCC, she worked at a foster agency in Houston, Texas. Alondra enjoys reading, biking, and baking. She loves going on road trips and spending time with family.

Karolyn Watts CPRP, M.Ed is a CBRS and Case Manager who has worked at Valley Community Counseling for over 15 years. Karolyn has 30 years of experience as a high school counselor. She has a BS in Psychology and an M. Ed. in Guidance and Counseling.

Sarah Kretshman is a community based CBRS and HI. Sarah has a Bachelor's degree in social work has been with VCC since March of 2018. Sarah enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with her kids.

Ally Barnes is one of the peer support specialists at Valley Community Counseling. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. As well as writing, painting, drawing, and reading. Ally struggled with mental illness for many years and has put a lot of work into finding healing for herself. Ally hopes to help other people by walking with them on their journey towards healing. Ally loves making meaningful connections with the people she works with and hopes to help others find a life that they love living!

Taelar Kennison is from Buhl, ID. She enjoys hanging out with family and friends, going to the mountains, and taking her dog on adventures. Taelar is going to school to get a Bachelors in Special Education and Elementary Education. This job helps and prepares her for her career path and she loves kids!

Edith Maldonado graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor's in Science Sociology-Criminology. She loves spending time with her family and dogs. She enjoys reading mystery and fantasy books. Edith's favorite places are the beach, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. She enjoys the outdoors.

Lindsay Ashmead
Lindsay Ashmead LCPC

Lindsay Ashmead completed her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Idaho in Art Education. She taught K-12 art for 12 years in Idaho and Nevada. She completed her Master’s Degree in counseling from Northwest Nazarene University of Nampa with an emphasis in trauma, grief, and crisis counseling. Lindsay has completed level 2 training in Internal Family Systems through the IFS Institute. In her free time Lindsay enjoys painting, crocheting, yoga, and traveling.

Jessica Horalek, is a habilitative interventionist helping empower children and their families to see their strengths and true potential. She is currently working toward a MSW through the University of North Dakota, with graduate certificates in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Applied Behavior Analysis. Jessica's undergraduate emphasis includes Early Childhood Development and Special Education. She enjoys spending time with her family, learning, spending time in nature, and her many pets.
